Autism Society of America
(ASA)-
The
Autism Society of America exists to improve the lives of all people who are
affected by autism. They do this by increasing public awareness about the day-to-day
issues faced by people on the spectrum, advocating for appropriate services for
individuals across the lifespan, and providing the latest information regarding
treatment, education, research and advocacy.
Autism Society of Central Oklahoma (ASOCO)-
ASOCO’s
members include parents, professionals and other interested members of the
public, as well as people with autism. They are dedicated to the education and
welfare of all people with autism and other pervasive developmental disorders. They
help and support people with autism, and their families as well as support legislation
that expands and improves their services.

that comes our way pertinent to autism research and support.

Oklahoma Autism Alliance
(OAA)-
OAA
is a bridge between 3 important organizations: Oklahoma Family Center for
Autism (OFCA), Oklahoma Autism Network (OAN), and the Oklahoma Statewide Autism
Conference. This website offers great tools and information for those who need
or offer support and have a vested interest in “World of Autism”.
Oklahoma
Department of Human Services (OKDHS)-
OKDHS
includes access to key online applications; programs and services information
that target specific groups of people, career information, and accessibility compliant
content for people with disabilities.
Oklahoma Developmental Disabilities Council
(ODDC)-
The ODDC
Council promotes quality services and programs that enable persons with
developmental disabilities to realize increased independence, productivity, integration
and inclusion in the community. Though not providers of direct services, the
Council has assisted thousands of Oklahomans to live, work, play, and learn in
their own homes and in their own neighborhoods. ODDC is also responsible for
overseeing Partners in Policymaking, a program designed for adults with
disabilities, parents of children with disabilities who are too young to
advocate for themselves, and advocates for persons with disabilities.
Oklahoma Family Network (OFN)-
The Oklahoma Family Network is
Oklahoma’s non-profit Parent-to-Parent mentorship and referral network,
empowering families who are raising children with special health care or
disability needs.
Oklahoma Parent Network (OPN)-
OPN’s
main purpose is to unite parents in the support of taking care of a loved one
with a disability. Share your thoughts and experiences and converse with other
Oklahoman families. Learn from one another, share resources, and gather
information in this user-friendly atmosphere.
Oklahoma State Department of
Special Education

OSDE
Special Education is a valuable resource and tool which can be used to support
students, families, service providers, teachers and school personnel. The OSDE
Special Education Services web site offers information and technical assistance
to further enable family involvement, smooth transitions at all stages of the
educational process and support.
